Cookie Policy
This Policy explains how SynthPulse Inc. uses cookies and similar technologies on synthpulse.life, how long they persist and how you can control them.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites remember preferences, keep sessions secure and understand aggregate usage. Similar technologies include local storage keys and pixel tags. This Policy covers all of them collectively as "cookies".
2. Who is responsible?
SynthPulse Inc., 609 Granville Street, Suite 800, Vancouver, BC V7Y 1G5, Canada, operates synthpulse.life and determines cookie purposes described here. Contact: [email protected].
3. How we use cookies
We group cookies into categories:
- Necessary: Required for core functionality — for example remembering cookie consent choices and basic security. These cannot be disabled through our banner without breaking expected site behaviour.
- Analytics (optional): Help us understand how visitors navigate pages — counts, referrers, device types — in aggregated form. Loaded only if you accept analytics in our cookie banner or modal.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on this marketing site. We do not sell cookie data.
4. Cookie banner and consent storage
When you first visit, a banner offers Accept all, Reject all or Customise. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie named via our consent key (sp_cookie_consent) for six months, after which the banner reappears. Rejecting analytics prevents optional analytics scripts from loading on subsequent pages until you change preferences.
Form consent for PIPEDA on the contact page is separate — it is not stored in marketing cookies and is handled under our Privacy Policy.
5. Detailed cookie list
The following table describes cookies that may be set on synthpulse.life:
- sp_cookie_consent — First-party — Purpose: stores JSON consent preferences (necessary/analytics) — Duration: 6 months — Category: Necessary
- _ga — Google Analytics (if enabled) — Purpose: distinguishes users for aggregate statistics — Duration: 2 years — Category: Analytics — Vendor: Google LLC
- _ga_* — Google Analytics (if enabled) — Purpose: session state for analytics — Duration: 2 years — Category: Analytics — Vendor: Google LLC
- Session identifiers — First-party hosting — Purpose: load balancing or security — Duration: session — Category: Necessary
Exact analytics cookies depend on whether Google Analytics or a comparable privacy-conscious tool is active in production. We update this list when vendors change.
6. Storage durations summary
- Consent preference cookie: six months
- Analytics cookies (if accepted): up to twenty-four months per vendor defaults
- Session cookies: deleted when you close the browser
7. How to change or withdraw consent
You can update preferences at any time:
- Click Customise in the cookie banner (clear site cookies to reopen the banner if hidden).
- Use browser settings to block or delete cookies — note that blocking all cookies may affect site function.
- Install browser extensions that block analytics scripts.
- Email [email protected] for assistance.
Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on: available from Google for supported browsers.
8. Do Not Track
There is no uniform standard for responding to Do Not Track signals. We treat lack of analytics consent as equivalent to rejecting optional tracking on our site regardless of DNT header presence.
9. Updates
We may revise this Cookie Policy when we add tools or change vendors. The Last updated date will change. Material updates may be highlighted on the website.
